Scarecrows on display at Cambria as part of the annual festival

–Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual Cambria Scarecrow Festival is underway. Dozens of scarecrows are on display throughout October.

Due to the pandemic, scarecrows are concentrated in four exhibits in Cambria and one in San Simeon.

This year again, the scarecrows are rich in creativity. Many have a nautical theme, due to the proximity to the Pacific Ocean.

The scarecrow displays are located at 4005 Burton Drive, 1174 Main Street, 940 Main Street (at Pinedorado Field). 589 Main Street (next to Shell Station) and the San Simeon Beach Bar and Grill (9520 Castillo Drive, San Simeon.)

Visitors are reminded to wear a mask, maintain social distance, and follow directional signs through the screens.

The scarecrows will be on display throughout October. They will be removed after Halloween, October 31, which falls on a Saturday in 2020.
